MONDAY, April 11

On Display: LibQual Survey results, faculty publications

FSU Community Art and Crafts Show

The library will host an exhibition of artwork created by faculty and staff of the university from April 11-April 15, 2011. A variety of drawings, prints, photographs, sculptures, textiles, and jewelry will be on display highlighting the creativity and talents of our colleagues.

TUESDAY, April 12

Musical performance

Ben Cosgrove, composer and pianist, performs in the library café 1:30pm-2:30pm.

Activities: Pimp your Library Cart Contest, Massachusetts Library Snapshot Day

WEDNESDAY, April 13

Book Club: The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield 12:00pm-1:00pm Archives Room.

THURSDAY, April 14

Poetry Slam at the Cafe

On Thursday, April 14th from 4:30pm-6:00pm in honor of National Library Week and National Poetry month, a Poetry Slam will be held in the café at Whittemore Library. Participants reading their poetry will include faculty, students, and staff of the university.

FRIDAY, April 15

Storytime and Crafts

Curriculum Library hosts a craft hour for the Child Development Lab.

Literary Cake Decorating Contest

Patrons in the library will be able to select their favorite cake creation from 9:30am-12:30pm.  Winners will be announced at 1pm and slices of cake will be distributed from 1:00pm-2:30pm in the library café.
