Accessing Agricola…
To search for articles go to the National Agriculture Library website, select the keyword search link underneath the box labeled “Articles”. There are articles that are available full text through the Agricola database. If a journal is not available full text through Agricola, enter the name of the journal in the Full Text Journal Finder to see if we carry the journal full text in our other library databases.
For other food science resources, please check our Food Science Research Guide. If you need help finding articles, please call the reference desk at 508.626.4654 or email us at reference@framingham.edu.

Library Renovation Phase 1 Update: Week of June 15, 2009
Main floor Circulation area closed 6/15/09 thru 8/7/09:
You may have noticed changes to the main floor of the Library. I’m happy to announce that construction is currently taking place to create a new Circulation Desk, office space, and more comfortable and flexible study spaces for students on the Library’s main floor. Library operations have been relocated to the foyer. This includes Circulation and Inter-library loan functions, as well as the (McNaughton) recreational reading collection. Four public PC’s and a network printer have been moved to the “pit” area for general use. In addition, there are four remaining PC’s on the first floor and others are available on the upper mezzanine. Access to the Circulation Desk area and study carrels is blocked due to the ceiling and brick wall demolition that will occur over the next few weeks, but staff at the temporary service desk can help you navigate around the construction areas to find the PC’s or resources you need. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and assure you that every effort is being made to minimize the effects of dust and noise. Thanks, to the campus community, for your patience and support during this renovation process. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me, Bonnie Mitchell, Director of Library Services at 508-626-4651 or bmitchell@framingham.edu.

BEA ’09: Elvis and more
Had a great time at this year’s Book Expo America. Library Journal recapped librarians’ top picks at Librarian’s Shout and Share. I could not help videotaping Elvis serenading me, the Samba women and the Expresso Machine.
